Escad and "Anli" the Heroine as young children, sharing a sweet moment. And with a kitty!

I'm a sucker for the whole "childhood meeting" scenario, purely because it's uber-sweeet.

On an artistic note, this is a an older piece, about two years old, but I still like purely because, well, they're little kids and there's a little kitty-cat involved. The cat itself is actually bit of a cameo of my cat, Kenshin, who passed away of feline leukemia that year, so it's also bit of a memorial for him. Rest in peace Kenshin... Otherwise, this was drawn purely on a whim, out of the need for some shameless sweetness and I think the pencil-shading only adds to the image. ^^
