Because the Heroine is a lovely girl, and she looks even more so in a Japanese kimono. ^^

On an artistic note, I was inspired by the movie Memoirs of a Geisha and wanted to draw the Heroine as a geisha. But I started drawing before doing some adequate research, so it didn't turn out as accurately as I wanted to. ^^; It was also part of a now-abandoned project of drawing various LoM characters in period Japanese clothing and settings, but I never got around to that. Ah well. Despite the fact that this piece is about a year old, I still like it if purely for the pretty, shiny colors and shojo-y-ness. ^^
