'Tis Elazul, Jumi Knight of Lapis Lazuli.

While he's not my favorite character (that would be Escad! XD), I still like him. Here are my various and asundry thoughts on him...

- Dude. He's obviously in love with Pearl. They so belong together... ^^
- For fun, my nickname for him is "Blue Boy". ("Hey! It's Blue Boy! Hiya Blue Boy!") The nickname has made it's way into my LoM fanfic as well. Just for fun...
- The poor fella has got be a frequent visitor of the "Victims of Fanfiction Character Rape Annoymous" support group for Video Game and Anime characters, especially with all of the attention he gets from fangirls... ^^;
- He's a good party member. I won't have him in my party if, say, Escad is available, but he's good in a pinch. He has bit of bad habit of hacking and slashing in thin air, though. ("HEY! Blue Boy! The baddies are over HERE, dammit! Not over there! >< Quit dancin' around and help me out here!") Heh heh.
- The crystal arm of his puzzles me. Did he lose his original arm in a fight and get it replaced with tha crystal arm ala' Edward of Full Metal Alchemist/Folken of Escaflowne? (And is there a possible Sappho connection or somethin'?)
- Since he's been known to wander the Duma Desert in the fanon, I wonder if he was part of a desert tribe of sorts before meeting Pearl (who he loves...who is Pearl, and he loves Pearl... Pearly Pearl Pearl Pearly Pearl Pearl Pearly Pearly Pearly Pearl...Pearl...).
- I like poking fun of him. He's fun to poke fun of. Hehehehehe...

On an artistic note, this is an older piece from about two years ago, but I still like it. ^^ Even my Dad liked it and gushed over it. XD

Funny trivia: My guitar teacher helped me learn to play some of the music from LoM, and I showed him the soundtrack. He too, likes Elazul, and calls him "Cool Sword Guy". X3
