Escad Liotte, the Holy Knight of Gato Grottoes' Temple of Healing, in a quiet moment, deep in thought...

Escad is my absolute favorite character. ^^ I just adore him to bits. XD And yes, part of it is because he's, well, really damn hot. Yes, I can honestly admit that. XD Hmm, he looks a bit spaced-out here, or maybe even a little sad. N'awww...

In my opinion, Escad is a beautiful character. He's a loyal, intelligent, a little naive when it comes to not seeing the world in entirely black and white, emotional and quite proud individual, who just happens to be flawed. He also strikes me as bit of a "that's un-just and hurts the innocent so I'm going to do something about it" type of do-gooder. Not as blatantly compassionate as, say, the Heroine, but he still has those tendencies, I think. He's in love with a woman he knows he can never have a future with, but it still very loyal to her and tries desperately to save her life even though her fate is a tragic one, and he's unable to really, fully reach out for love and friendship, even though I really think he wants to. (Remember the "Let's go together!" line? Or the "....." before the rest of his dialogue if you side with him during "Pokiehl: Dream Teller"? Yeah, I think he's definately trying in some form or fashion. X3) And ultimately, he realizes the error of his ways at the end. ^^

So yeah, just some of of my thoughts on Escad... (And heck, maybe he find redemption and love through the Heroine. XD)

Certainly a more interesting character than, say, Elazul or Larc in my opinion.

On an artistic note, I really only have good things to say about this. Let's count the ways: hot guy is spaced-out/deep-in-thought/kinda-sad-ish looking. Check. Nice subtle light-blue tone. Check. Nice simple graphic background with a nice soft gradient effect (not an actual gradient itself! How about that? XD). Check. Cheetah indulging in her fangirlyness. Check, check, and check. XD Damn, he's got pretty eyes. Yes, I'm fangirling again, but I don't care because I'm happy as a clam. ^^
