Escad, Anli, Daena and Matilda in the Meditation Chamber. Matilda looks one with a solumn indifference, while Daena glowers with irretation and anger at her childhood friend. Anli, however, looks on with sympathy and affection, reaching out to him in a gesture of empathy. On an artistic note, I was roughly inspired by the "Two Torches" event, along with that one line as said by Escad. This could be my own biased perspective, but it seems to me that Escad has a lot of unrequited love for Matilda, and is deeply frusterated and hurt by, not only her current condition, but also her outright indifference to his real feelings towards her. Daena really doesn'y seem to be helping out much, either. Some subtle EscadxHeroine love here, too, as Anli was the only in the piece to outwardly display a "hey, I feel for you" getsure. Also took a more ambient feel to the piece, in an attempt to cloak Escad in a mixture of light and darkness, while Matilda, seemngly cloaked in light, is in reality "toxic" to his well-being – Escad's "Temptress" on Monomythic terms. Escad's true "Goddess" in this sense is Anli – hence her being cloaked in a more "pure" light. XD For those of you who know your "Hero's Journey" Monomyth, you may what I mean. (Escad, the "Hero", Anli the loving and protective "Goddess" figure, and Matilda the dangerous and toxic "Temptress" figure). ^^ Daena, of course, is the rival. Yup, lots of heavy Escad-love/bias here. XD Materials: Paper, Pencil, Pigma Pen, Photoshop CS2
