 The Star Witch, a benevolent young witch who makes the stars. Every night while the world is asleep, the Star Witch fires up her cauldron and with her magical brew, creates the stars that hang in the night sky. She does this so that lovers may have something to gaze at whilst their whisper their sweet nothings. She does this to inspire inquisitive minds from all across the four corners of the globe. She does this so that children may look upon them with the same awe and wonderment that she does, and so that they may find the inspiration to follow their dreams. Yes, it is the Star Witch that creates the stars night after night, for it is not only her duty, but also her deepest passion. Because of the Star Witch, the stars themselves share their brightest light upon the world in the night sky... Just a character of mine. ^^ On an artistic note, this felt like an illustration for a children's book. The story behind this piece is also very dreamy and child-like. ^^ Just a happy little something. Also got to play around with yellows, purples and a little bit of pink too, and just basically mess around, have fun, and create something that is, in my opinion both adorable and whimsical.
