 Transcending history and the world, a very different tale of souls and swords eternally retold... A teaser pic for a crossover plotbunny that has permenantly lodged itself in my head and refuses to go away unless I develop it. So this was born. XD Also because I'm recently obsessed with Soul Calibur 3 and its Chronicles of the Sword and "Create-a-Soul" modes. Fun fun! The story itself, featuring my five crossover CAS fights (Escad, the Heroine and Blackpearl of Legend of Mana, Lara Croft (Tomb Raider of course!) and Dante of Devil May Cry 3, is set in the COTS universe, and it follows their story and struggles in the Mantis War and their own quest to find the Embrace of Souls. And yes, Nightmare and Zasalamel do have important roles in the story, as do Tira, Setsuka, Taki, Ivy and Voldo. It's basically a crossover epic pot-boiler with love, war, the old Soul calibur versus Soul Edge conflict and Dante hassling Escad and Anli the Heroine in getting together. Lotsa fun. I'm actually looking forward to writing and developing this plotbunny. XD Still needs a lot of tweaking though... On an artistic note, I'm pretty happy with this one. Though, I do have my quirks. I forgot to add Lara in the composition, so I added her in at the last minute – and it kinda shows. XP And I really could've done a little better with the cel-shading. Ah well... ^^; I was breaking into giggle fits while working on this for uber-obvious reasons. XD (OTP FTW!!!) Also, I love Dante. He looks so kickass. XD And Eee! Zasalamel!
