Niccolo Ninbar
A friendly traveling merchant, rabbit-man and self-proclaimed "Peddlar of Smiles". While he has a nasty tendency to over price his goods far beyond what they're worth, he does have some ethics (like refusing to sell Jumi Cores). He's fond of Anli, and is the first person she meets on her travels.

Elazul Rivelan
The Jumi Knight of Lapis Lazuli of the Clod Strata. He's brash and hot-tempered, yet still honorable and quick to appologize for any wrong-doing. His Jumi Guardian is the gentle and shy Pearl Chezarem, of whom he is completely fascinated by – and possibly in love with – and is fiercely protective of her. He is the second person Anli meets on her travels, and is grateful for her aid in finding Pearl, and thus serves as a mentor to her.

Bud and Lisa Gwynver
A pair of adorabley energetic, eager and highly talented young elf mages, who also happen to be twins. Bud and Lisa lost their parents in a tragic accident, and have come to Domina to start a new life. Bud is the more rambunctious one, prone to pulling pranks and is more reckless than his sensible older sister. Both adore Anli, as she was the one to have taken them in.

Pearl Chezarem
The Jumi Guardian of White Pearl of the Clod Strata. Pearl is an extremely shy and gentle young woman, and despite the fact she occasionally gets lost, is rather wise. As a Guardian, she is a Healer and is profficient in First Aid. She quickly befriends the fiery Anli, and is the object of Bud's crush. It appears that she has very strong affections for Elazul...

Others

Li'l Cactus
A walking, talking, sentient Cactus who is a long-time friend of Anli and quite a bit of simple insight and wisdom. While he doesn't speak much, he has quite a lot to say in the "Cactus Diary" he keeps, and looks forward to Anli's stories of her travels.

The Holy Knight
The young Holy Knight of Gato Grottoes' Temple of Healing who, according to Niccolo, had disappeared ten years ago, and is presumed dead. After hearing more about his disappearence and presumed, Anli decides that he is alive and vows to find him so she may protect him and become his Knight. Who is he and what is his fate?

The Ghost Boy
A mysterious boy that Anli meets in the Mekiv Caverns. Everything about him – hair, skin, clothing – are completely white, while his eyes are a piercing yet gentle shade of turquoise blue. He seems to know more about the girl than she does; is he a messanger of sorts and is the message he hold for Anli an omen of things to come?

The Woman in the Caves
A mysterious and beautiful woman with red hair, intense green eyes, and orange flowers. She seems to have a great deal of knowledge about the Jumi Race – a fact that Elazul finds disturbing. Her pressence, in all appearences doesn't seem unsettling, is a threatening and cold one. Just why does she have such a cold pressence and why does she know so much about the Jumi?
